Angie holds a Master of Counselling from the University of Canberra, as well as undergraduate degrees in Asian Studies from the Australian National University, and Early Childhood Education from the University of Newcastle. She is registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).
Angie has a wealth of life experience and has studied and applied many modalities of therapy. She specialises in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, for which she has undertaken the formal training through the IFS Institute. She has also undertaken extensive training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Angie has a deep commitment to providing a safe therapeutic space of unconditional acceptance and compassion. She is passionate about guiding clients to make sense of their inner world beyond the painful thoughts, emotions, sensations and memories that come with a range of conditions and experiences. She seeks to guide her clients to experience meaningful growth and healing for long term change.
She works with people who are struggling with anxiety, panic, depression, grief, trauma or relationship difficulties, and/or who generally want to live with more vitality. Angie is experienced in working with neurodivergent people and takes a neuro-affirming approach with all her clients.
